On Robinhood Chain
Jeets has no blocks of its own. Every transaction runs the moment it arrives, and is then written to Robinhood Chain, where anyone can read it.
Transactions
- Every balance change is a transaction: a deposit, an open, a close, a liquidation, a withdrawal, or a setting change. Each one gets a number, its seq, counting up from 0 with no gaps, in the order the transactions ran.
- A transaction runs at the oracle price of that moment, and keeps a copy of those prices and its time with its result. Price updates themselves aren’t transactions.
- Every transaction you sign names the Jeets ledger it’s for (its chain id), so its signature can’t be replayed on another one.
Written to Robinhood Chain
- Jeets writes every transaction to the JeetsLedger contract with
record(fromSeq, entries), usually within a second or two. Transactions waiting at the same time share one Robinhood Chain transaction. - Each one becomes its own
Recorded(seq, entry)log. Theentryholds the transaction (with its signature), the prices and time it ran at, and its result, so every fill price and payout is on Robinhood Chain. It’s borsh-encoded, the same bytes the Jeets node stores. - The contract only accepts the next number:
fromSeqmust equal itscount, so nothing can be skipped or written twice. - It also keeps a running fingerprint of everything written:
head = keccak256(head ‖ keccak256(entry))for each entry in order. Changing any past entry would change every laterhead.
Verifying
Read the Recorded logs from Robinhood Chain in order and replay them from the first one: that reproduces every balance, position, and payout, and each result must match the one recorded. Recompute the running head as you go and compare it with the contract’s. The same transactions are also available from the API.
The explorer
The explorer lists the latest transactions and the Robinhood Chain blocks they were written in, with links to Etherscan. Each transaction’s page shows its block, the Robinhood Chain transaction, and its log.
Who runs it
Jeets runs the sequencer that orders transactions, and the key that writes them to Robinhood Chain. Anyone can check the result, but Jeets decides the order transactions run in.
